Scribbling Positivity

Another year is bound to end, and it's only fitting that we better start thinking of a few New Year's resolutions. Well if you ask me, being completely organized and motivated is my number one resolution for next year. Luckily, Filed will be releasing their new Scribble planner to help me achieve my resolution!

I love this planner! The aesthetic tickles my minimalist and rustic fancy. Definitely an Instagram-worthy item! And look, it has my name in beautiful calligraphy. Thanks Filed!

But enough what's on the outside, we all know what's on the inside is also important; so here are my top 3 favorite features of the Scribble planner:

1. The Bucket List

3 words: Life is short. Won't it be fun to challenge ourselves in doing things before a certain day? I, for one, am so excited to jot down all the things I wanted to do before perhaps I turn 25? I get married? I die? The world is filled with endless possibilities. There are thousands of adventures that await and I can't wait to list them down on my planner, and cross them off one by one.

2. The Inspirational Pages

Let's face it, we all need that daily dose of inspiration and the Scribble planner got that covered! Whenever we're having 'those days', we need some sort of compassion. We may not hear it from someone, or see it in a message...at least the Scribble planner is here to remind us that inspiration is everywhere!

3. The Stickers

Such a childish choice, but hey, they contain more inspiration! The Scribble planner is just filled with positive words and it's very uplifting. And besides, their colorful! Colors make everything better. Why don't you put them up everywhere? That's when you can truly say that inspiration can be found in the most unexpected places.

Shirtsleeve

Top from Landmark // Skirt from @modamnl on Instagram // Bag from Parisian

Pardon the cliche title, nonetheless, it's great song by Ed Sheeran. The Multiply album is still on repeat as we speak and I suggest you go listen to it now so you can understand my attachment.

This shirt is one of my favorite purchases ever, not just because of its sleeves like the blog title gives away (lol), but the fact that it's oversized, has lace and it's in color mint. Those are some of my underrated favorite things and they're all mashed up in this top. And I have a thing for wearing skirts nowadays, they're comfortable and flowy unlike shorts and pants. My carefree alter-ego has been unleashed while walking around Bonifacio Global City, which is a place I absolutely adore. I have been wanting to shoot for a blog post in this vicinity. Although far from where I live, plus the heavy traffic in C-5, it's worth the drive. The malls, boutiques, restaurants, clubs and not to mention their newly opened 4D cinema in High Street is what keeps BGC the place-to-be. I love that I got to enjoy this day even more, frolicking the streets with these pretty gals.

With Advent and Ingrid ♥

...

I hope everyone is safe and sheltered despite experiencing typhoon Glenda two days ago. I hope people are coping with the rotating brownout and the fact that in some places, electricity still hasn't been restored ever since the typhoon struck. There were a lot of destroyed properties, including my school, and I hope repairs will be done immediately. My heart goes out to everyone who's in suffering because of the calamity. Stay dry and keep safe!

Net-A-Porter x Sugar For Spike Giveaway

Sugar For Spike is pleased to announce the release of its debut collection editorial lookbook.
The inspiration behind the lookbook comes from two friends, looking for an escape from the perfectionism and commercialism of their city, where they stumble into a “secret” underground hangout to have a little carefree fun.
Dancing and twirling throughout the night, and forgetting whom they are and what the world deems as appropriate behaviour, they end up discovering that the liberation from the night out will be one of the memories they will treasure about their youth.

The collection is slated to release at select retailers and online at sugarforspike.com on 7th August 2014. The line is also available for pre-order now, with free international shipping. Closing date for pre-orders is 10th July 2014.

Sugar for Spike is also giving away $500 worth of Urban Decay vouchers!!!

For giveaway mechanics, go to http://launch.sugarforspike.com/

The giveaway ends on July 11, 2014, 9pm.

Goodluck ladies!

Dungaree Love

(as requested by Icee lol)
Crop top from Forever 21 // Thrifted dungaree // Boots from Australian

This was the second set from my shoot with Icee, and yes I am currently queuing this post as we speak because I will either be too lazy or too busy to post this on July. I will officially start my junior year in college on July 1st and I am quite excited to be honest because mainly I like my majors and especially my elective (Popular and Creative Writing). Despite a tough semester ahead, I will try my hardest to post as much as possible because I want to take blogging seriously and basically build my life around it.

Now about the what I'm wearing, I have 3 words: IT'S MY FAVORITE. I have been desperately trying to achieve the grunge look and now that I have, I am screeching to the highest extent. I had a hard time choosing the photos to be posted because everything looks so good. I might just squeeze in some on my Instagram. Anyway, here's a rad mix to pump up your July.

A Grey Matter

Dress from Trunk Show // Shoes from Converse

I have got to stop abandoning my blog for this long. I'm sorry I have just been so lazy and uninspired to keep up with my blog without an outfit post but luckily I have gathered some inbetweeners whenever I am lacking one so watch out for that. Anyway, isn't this dress so edgy? I mean, the back is a hundred percent scene stealer. And all the more shocking thing is...MY MOM PICKED OUT THIS DRESS! She has got an eye for fashion that's for sure. I wore this dress at the Style Origin at Fairview Terraces wherein Allison Harvard from America's Next Top Model and Tim Yap held a talk on fashion (see my Instagram post here). When we were shooting this, I brought heels but decided on the last minute that I would rather wear my nifty converse sneakers. I, for one, am not a big fan of heels, pumps, stilletos and the like. They hurt. That is all I can say regarding this matter. Besides, it looks more fun and wild this way which is what I always go for in my outfit choices.

And since I have been gone for too long, I owe you guys a ton of songs. So here's Ed Sheeran's new album Multiply and trust me when I say, every single song is perfection.

Enjoy!
